Active vibration isolation works when a sensor detects vibration signals and converts them into electrical signals. These signals are transmitted to an actuator, which outputs a force in the opposite direction to cancel the vibration.
It can reduce both low- and high-frequency vibrations, with particularly strong performance in the low-frequency range, far exceeding that of passive vibration isolation. Passive vibration isolation relies on elastic materials such as springs, air cushions, and rubber to reduce vibrations above 20 Hz, but it has limited effect on low-frequency vibrations.
As standards for precision experiments become increasingly stringent, experimental results are highly sensitive to environmental factors, especially external vibrations, which can significantly affect accuracy.
The active vibration isolation platform is an effective device for vibration reduction. It absorbs vibration waves within a specific frequency range or reduces vibration frequencies through the superposition of wave peaks and troughs, thereby achieving vibration isolation.
